It is hard to reconstruct it. I think probably a very trite answer is all I can give you; one of very great disturbance and trouble at the prospects ahead.

Conducted And Formed

Formed in 200x and after a flurry of name changes the band finally settled down on Finletter.
R. Decline has on several occassions announced particular songs as "Doorslams cover" or introduced the band itself as a "Doorslams cover band." At an early show he appeared wearing a shirt that read, "save goddamn the doorslams" no doubt leaving a few people confused at this inside joke. So without further adieu, the major name changes in their historicaly accurate order were: "Goddamn and the doorslams" got shortened to "The Doorslams" got extended to "Goddamn The Doorslams" then changed to "The Drippen Wets" before finally becoming, "Finletter" Also heavily contimplated were, "The Nervous Wrecks" "The Problems" (the band to this day still insists that they have more problems than the solo act band currently playing under that name) and "Protected by Finletter."
Finletter made their first appearance as "The Doorslams" at a small Madratz Infoshop house party and benefit with the opening band "I want whiskey." Their second appearance followed shortly after that one again appearing at a Madratz benefit this time at the actual shop space and playing atop a loading dock this time as "The Drippen Wets". They then went off the radar and resurfaced again in after the new year as "Finletter" at a house show followed the next night with a show at a local bar. Collin Bine having apparently declared 2008 as, "the year of Finletter."
